Field triips! Field trips! Field trips!

What a trip! Okay, so I'm a little late posting these, but that's just how it rolls around here.
Porter's class got to go to the Nature Center for their first field trip this year. They got to learn "field science" (habitats, bugs, animals, ect.). Here's Porter in the middle of the group turning around to say "Cool" to me. Some of Porter's little friends.

Porter, and can't remember his name, catching bugs! They had such a great time, but Porter says his favorite part was eating the sack lunches....ahh, brings back memories of my own field trips there. Except they got rid of the treehouse....bummer!

Next, Holt's class got to go on a field trip to Beus Pond to learn about fall. (Don't "fall" off the bridge!)

The boys found bugs....

Holt, being the ladies man! Look at all those cute little girlies!

Feeding ducks and geese. One of them actually came up and bit him on the hiney! I had to give it a little kick to keep it moving!

Holt got another field trip the next week! Lucky duck! This time, we had a picnic in the park with grandmas. He loved having my mom at the park with him to eat lunch....

And, of course, playing with his buddies!

What fun!
