Disney World

Our summer started off with a huge bang! A trip to Florida/Disney World with my family. My parents have time-shares, so they like to share with the rest of us! We had great condos to stay in, and we were literally 5 minutes away from the parks...it was perfect! We had a very busy week trying to take it all in.
Apparently, Holt doesn't like the feeling of falling. On our flight there, as we were descending to land, he clutched the sides of his seat and kept saying "We're falling mama!" I assured him that we were okay, but then any ride we went on that went down, he kept saying "Don't like going down!" Funny kid!
We had many exciting times, too numerous to mention!
In the Animal Kingdom, we went on an African Safari and saw many different animals; went on a roller-coaster ride up Mt. Everest, and had great front row seats to a jungle parade!
Magic Kingdom has several favorites, like Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Haunted Mansion! We took a break in the middle of the day for a nap, then headed back for a late night fireworks show, which is actually the best time to be there, because after the fireworks are done, all the people leave and you can literally walk onto every ride! Yes, we kept our kids there until past midnight, but it was well worth it! Pirates of the Caribean several times in a row....love it!
But, after a few busy days, we needed a break, so we headed off for a day at Cocoa Beach! We love playing in the Atlantic Ocean...it's so warm!
Next, we had to take a trek around the world at Epcot Center...which also has my all time favorite ride "Soarin'". We love walking around all the different countries...at least Colby and I do. The kids actually liked it okay, too! And, of course, you can't miss the fireworks there over the lake...they are spectacular!
Disney Hollywood studios had a whole Star Wars extravaganza going on...so Porter was in heaven there! There were Star Wars characters walking all over the place, great parades...and Korinne and Porter even had to get their faces painted to blend in! We love Aerosmiths Rockin Roller Coaster and the Tower of Terror. We even got to see Kris Allen (American Idol) while he was there promoting the American Idol exprience that is new there.
After hitting all the parks, the last 2 days we spend hitting our favs again, or seeing things we didn't get to see the first time.
All in all...a great trip. Exhausting, but soooo fun!
